The world's fossil resources are exhausted. Two polar subterranean thermal reactors supply the increasing energy demand of mankind. An explosion in Northern polar thermal reactor has destroyed all primary and secondary energy connections and contact with the engineers and rescue robots has been lost.

Without an energy supply the death of billions is imminent! We need the five control diamonds to engage the station's backup systems. Use the shielded suit and the Powerglove to protect yourself against the maintenance robots.

You're our only hope!

PLAYING POWERGLOVE

Use your joystick to run around; press UP to jump, press DOWN to duck. Take care, the momentum of your actual running speed influences your jump. Don't forget to equip your powerglove before entering the station complex!

THE ITEMS

powerglove: The new ion gun prototype! Press FIRE to shoot.
shield: Refills two powersuit energy cells.
key: Collect keys to open locked transport tubes.
diamond: Retrieve five control diamonds to engage backup systems.
powerboots: Press and hold UP to activate the powerboots.

NAVIGATING THE LEVELS

tube: Enter the tube transport system by pressing DOWN.
closed tube: Use a key to unlock a closed tube.
gate: Caution, weapons will be disarmed when entering a security gate.

THE ROBOTS

When facing Taptap, Turbo or Smarty, you have to react quickly. Try to avoid the same ground level until you have achieved a safe distance. The shots of Tenna and Face are too fast to avoid, so don't run blindly into new areas. Analyse the shooting patterns first, then make a plan how to reach the next exit. Remember, both robots will cease fire when you are outside their sensor range! Squiddy and Mimikry are easy to avoid, but you have to show patience to find the correct point in time to start shooting.

THE 'LEFT-OVERS'

Doing, Blub, Chuck, Oops. Hello little fellows. Yes, it was planned that you would guard the critical tube sections down in the reactor area. Unfortunately, you all missed the Eignungstest from Prof. Mannheim. Your brains would need to much memory, so you will not be appearing in this game. Sorry, guys!
